In other summertime-warp news, I have two new crazy milestones to report.

# 1 - We are officially SIX MONTHS FROM WEDDING DAY!!!!

The passage o time is nuts. In honor of the occasion, and because I haven't posted one in a while, here is an updated journal entry for our Journey to Jager -

Sleep: It has been a while, but just this past weekend I had another bizarre wedding dream - it involved one of my bridesmaids not showing up for the wedding, me walking down a very elaborate aisle that had me climbing boxes and other objects, and ending with me clutching none other than President Obama on the altar. Bizarre to say the least.

Best Moment of the Week: Sharing all things wedding at Girls Weekend :)

Currently on my Mind: Getting out those Save the Dates and figuring out our catering situation. One of our contenders had to back out, but found a great new company that our venue has recently partnered with. Very excited about the possibilities.

What I am Looking Forward to this Week: Bridesmaid Brunch on Sunday :)

Emotions: Feeling good!

We were invited to take part in the grand opening celebration of our wedding venue a couple weeks back. It was the first time we have been inside the Speaking since selecting it as our venue back in the winter time and let me tell you, it's just as magical now as it was then. We took our mothers for a night on the town in our Friday night finest and stepped back into the 1920s for an appropriately themed affair. It was the first time Matt's mom has seen the venue so extra special. Everything was spectacular from the Prohibition Style drinks, photo booth, food (I had about a million mini beef wellingtons... ), and the vintage pieces scattered about the space. Looking forward to incorporating some of these elements into our celebration!

# 2 - Bethie Crocker is officially a year old!

A little over a year ago, I decided to make a long-time passion for baking the center of my very first blog. The past 365 days are a food-induced, baked-good laiden haze and I would have it no other way. Thank you for reading my ramblings, indulging in my constant cravings, and allowing me to be at my silliest, which is (after all), when I am at my best. Can't wait to see what the next year brings!
